Carol L. Ewing Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carol L. (Caraway) Ewing, 60, of Bristolville, died 12:48 PM Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren. She was born on Sunday, June 27, 1943, in Warren, the daughter of Betty Tompkins Bosley. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She had been a homemaker who enjoyed the Cleveland Indians, crafts, playing the guitar, and going for walks with her dogs. Surviving Mrs. Ewing are four daughters: Jacqueline (Forrest) Sonewald of Kirtland, Cynthia Ewing of Connecticut, Wendy Luonuansuu of Bristolville, and Joey Ewing of Howland; her stepfather, Charles Bosley of Niles; two brothers: Robert Caraway of Warren and Patrick Caraway of Niles; two sisters: Kathy Ifft of Boardman and Kay Platt of Warren; and four grandchildren: Kayla and Erin Luonuansuu of Bristolville, and Clinton Ewing and Evan Hornick of Howland. Preceding Mrs. Ewing in death are her parents; her husband, James C. Ewing, whom she married April 4, 1964 and who died March 1, 2002; and a brother, Wray Caraway. Services for Mrs. Ewing will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 9, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Myron Daum officiating.
